Description
First created in 1968, Seiko 5 Sports has brought durable and reliable mechanical watches to watch lovers around the world ever since. Inspired by the first collection, Seiko 5 Sports renew the collection with an accurate re-creation of its vintage origins.
In the ‘Pepper’ black colour popularised by the original, under its curved glass, it maintains the same vintage aesthetic. The case shape and size has been recreated as accurately as possible, but with improved lugs and crown for functionality. The bracelet has solid links to resemble the original’s retro appearance whilst it also comes with a ‘68 style calf leather strap. Powered by an in-house 4R36 automatic movement, this Seiko 5 Sports has a power reserve of 40 hours.
Seiko 5 Sports is known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance, and value. ‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.
