PRESAGE ‘Style 60s’

Practical modern watches with retro vintage 1960s looks. The collection is inspired by the design of Japan’s first ever chronograph, originally created by Seiko in 1964 to coincide with an important sporting event in Tokyo.

This modern version is updated with the 4R movement and lumibrite in subtle sepia to create its vintage look with no compromise on brightness and practicality.

An angular style in the Presage collection, visible from the dial pattern to the sharp edges of the case shape.

The dial patterns of the Sharp Edged Series are inspired by the traditional Japanese artistic design of a plant grown in Japan for over 10,000 years – hemp. This ancient pattern has been seen in Japanese artisan objects since the Heian period (794-1185).

Combining traditional Japanese ‘Takumi’ artisan craftsmanship with Seiko’s mechanical watchmaking skills in timepieces that offer handcrafted beauty, quality and long-lasting performance.

The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time collection is inspired by the Japanese tradition of finishing the working day off with a cocktail.

Each timepiece is named after a drink mixed by Hisashi Kishi, head bartender and owner of Star Bar in Tokyo’s Ginza area and a past winner of the International Bar Association World Championships.
