This limited edition collaboration watch celebrates the 45th anniversary of the iconic Honda Motocompo – the 49cc ultra-compact folding scooter from 1981-1985. The Motocompo was the world’s first to combine an automobile with an auto-bike and was designed to be compact enough to fit in a car trunk.

In a 36mm Seiko 5 Field series design, this timepiece is bright yellow with bold black lines, like the original Motocompo scooter. With the Honda logo at 9 o’clock, the ‘AUTOMATIC’ text is printed in the same Honda font. The indices are each coated in Lumibrite for visibility in poor light. The caseback has a layer of red paint, as a homage to the red accents of the Motocompo scooter, and features a limited edition engraving. The nylon strap is inspired by the ‘carrying point’ of the Motocompo, the component used to secure the Motocompo to the boot of the Honda City car. ‘Insertion Point’ is engraved on the strap, and ‘TURN’ is engraved on the crown.
