The style of this watch reflects the constant technical and design innovation within the Seiko Astron collection, shown in its vivid highlight colours and unique pressed pattern dial. Conveniently solar-powered; the watch charges from both natural and electric light.
The watch is powered by the Seiko in-house built 5X calibre with advanced functionality – every component in the GPS module has been re-engineered to make it faster and more intuitive than ever. Just three seconds are needed to advance 14 hours from Tokyo to New York time, thanks to the system that moves hour, minute, and second hand independently.
The functions allow easy adjustment to Daylight Saving Time and give the wearer the ability to switch the main dial instantly from home to local time and vice versa. When a time zone adjustment is required, all it takes is a simple push of a button and the hands move faster than ever to the exact local time.
The accent colours on the additional silicone strap and accompanying box echo those on the watch itself.
